Maternity Ward - We will remain at your side

The midwife will look after you in the delivery room for the first few hours after the birth. After the monitoring period, you will be transferred to your room on the maternity ward. During your stay, our nursing team will be there to attend to your needs and those of your baby. In the process, you will enjoy personalised, holistic care. We are guided by your needs and wishes, and we will support you in your new daily routine

Thanks to our rooming-in system, you can have your baby with you in your room around the clock so you can learn about your child's needs. We assist you with baby care and breastfeeding. A breastfeeding counsellor will also support you and offer you individual advice.

Your gynaecologist will visit you daily, answer any questions you may have and discuss your ongoing care with the nursing staff. Doctors' visits do not take place at fixed times; rather, they will be arranged at short notice by your gynaecologist.

The paediatrician will examine your baby in the first two days after the birth. He or she will be happy to answer your questions and will determine the ongoing care of your baby together with the nursing staff.

Upon request, a hip ultrasound and a hearing test will be carried out on your baby to identify any hip problems in good time and to treat and test his/her later language development.
