The only Brazelton Centre in Switzerland is located at the Clinique des Grangettes. Founded in 1998, the Centre's goal is to give parents a chance to develop an harmonious relationship with their child right from birth.
One of a kind in Switzerland
The Clinique des Grangettes has very effective know-how when it comes to allowing parents, relatives and the new-born baby establish an optimal relationship right from the first day onward, and that in a supportive environment. The Brazelton Centre at the Clinique des Grangettes was one of the first – and the only one in Switzerland – to apply the method developed by the famous Harvard professor T. Berry Brazelton The approach is based on Brazelton's work on the personality and needs of the new-born and allows for the development of a balanced relationship between the parents and their children.
Research and training
As a centre for perinatal and early development practices, the Brazelton Centre participates in numerous paediatric conferences around the world and also acts as a centre of documentation.
Furthermore, it offers a range of courses and trainings. It gives young mothers an opportunity to participate in workshops on carrying a baby in a scarf or massaging their baby. It also offers full-fledged or introductory training on the Brazelton Scale and regularly holds courses and lectures in vocational schools.
