Week 36The lungs are now completely developed
Your child also puts on a considerable amount of weight so close to the birth. It can now put on up to 250 g per week. Its lungs are now completely developed. If this is your first child, its head is probably firmly situated down in the small pelvis. The baby can now now no longer turn itself, it is ready to be born.
The muscles of your pelvic floor are now placed under even more pressure as the baby drops. With stretching exercises and special pelvic floor gymnastics, you can prevent possible bladder weakness after the birth.
