With our state-of-the-art PET/CT devices, we can provide you with first-class medical service through specialised involvement in an interdisciplinary network. The integration 10 years ago of PET and CT into a combined PET/CT system was a resounding clinical success.
The PET/CT examination, using the radiotracer 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG), has established itself as a modern imaging technique, especially for oncological diseases, and is being used increasingly to monitor treatment and plan radiotherapy. In addition, the PET/CT shows significant clinical benefit in the investigation of neurological, cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases.
Together with the Oncology Centre Hirslanden (Swiss Tumor Institute), we can offer holistic care and high levels of safety. In the Oncology Centre Hirslanden, outpatients and inpatients are cared for and treated for malignant (solid and haematologic) tumours by specialist doctors and trained personnel at a highly professional level. Our centre and its state-of-the-art facilities are available to patients should a radiotherapeutic procedure be indicated.
If you have further questions or require more information, we will be happy to help.
