Expansion of therapy services:
At-home treatment and outpatient physiotherapy
Klinik Hirslanden is expanding its range of therapies and now offers at-home treatment for patients in the catchment area of the municipality of Zollikon, Zollikerberg and district 8. This means that Klinik Hirslanden is the first acute care hospital in Zurich to offer this service.
We are also pleased to inform you that patients can now benefit from the expanded outpatient physiotherapy service.
Monday to Thursday: 8.00 - 12.00, 13.00 - 17.00
Fridays: 8.00 - 12.30, 13.30 - 17.00
On average, patients in hospital spend 97% of the day in bed or in a chair. Only three per cent of this time is spent physically active.
Wearing a hospital gown instead of your own clothes makes you feel like you have to stay in bed all day and not be very active – even though you could.
For this reason, Klinik Hirslanden, together with the project group “Hospital in Motion”, is introducing a day of exercise every second and fourth Thursday of the month.
With the hashtag #getoutofbed, we encourage you to wear your own clothes and move around a little.
