Discharge and follow-up care

After outpatient treatment, further medical care will normally be provided by your family doctor. If follow-up care is needed from a specialist, we will organise your initial appointment in his or her practice. In every case we will send our medical report to the doctor responsible for the after-care on the same day.

If inpatient treatment is required at a hospital after initial treatment, you will receive further treatment from the affiliated doctor of your choice or from the on-call affiliated doctor specialising in the relevant medical discipline. All doctors involved will immediately receive our detailed report.
