In spite of all the technical progress that has been made to date, the treatment of tumours is never carried out solely by radiotherapists. Instead, treatment is based on an interdisciplinary concept. Of central importance is the collaboration between the oncologists and the surgeons, who create and implement an individualised approach for each patient depending on the nature of the tumour.
An important part of this interdisciplinary cooperation are the regular meetings involving our various specialists, who are all experts in the treatment of malignant tumours. This teamwork enables us to determine the optimal therapeutic course of action.
