Our partners are all highly qualified specialists offering you the highest level of care.
As a rule we settle your outpatient or inpatient clinic stay directly with your health or accident insurer. Following your stay, you are provided with a copy of the invoice that we send to your insurance company for your records. The invoice covers the medical treatment at the Clinic as well as the Clinic’s services. The medical treatment by your doctor is invoiced separately by the doctor.
Depending on nature of the contract with your health or accident insurance company, you must expect to pay a deductible. Your insurance company will approach you directly about this payment.
We invoice you directly for outpatient emergencies not involving surgery, any services not covered by statutory health insurance, or where the insurance company is based outside Switzerland. You receive an invoice from us which you may be able to pass on to your insurer for a refund, depending on your insurance status.
With regard to your private expenses (room service, telephone, visitor meals etc.), these should be paid at Reception in cash or using your EC/credit card before you leave the clinic.
Treatment at the day clinic is invoiced on an outpatient basis. Services are charged on a time and material basis in line with the applicable Tarmed rates for hospitals.
Patients with a general insurance are charged a daily flat fee according to the applicable mandatory fixed tariff for the basic insurance. This comp-rises a flat fee for the doctor’s services and one for the clinic’s services. For accidents or IV/MV services, rates are based on the SUVA tariffs.
Patients with supplementary insurance are charged on the basis of contracts we have concluded with the individual insurance companies or insurance groups. Depending on the nature of the intervention, charges are made on a flat-fee basis or according to the individual services rendered.
For services not covered by mandatory health insurance you will receive an offer from the Clinic. The tariff is based on the usual rates for patients with additional insurance.
