Would you like to be able to choose a doctor, specialist or hospital? To recover in a one or two-bed room? These (future) questions arise every year when insurance premiums are discussed.
The issue of being able to choose a doctor or hospital is naturally not very significant for those in impeccable health. However, it is precisely at such a time that one ought to make the right choices for the future. The possibility of making one’s own decisions and the awareness that, when required, one can place oneself in the hands of reliable medical and nursing staff, provide a sense of security.
Based on our tradition, we welcome patients with all forms of insurance cover to Klinik St. Anna. Swiss mandatory health insurance is sufficient to cover outpatient treatment. However, only one sixth of the clinic’s 190 beds are available for inpatients with general health insurance cover.
Complementary semi-private or private health insurance is required in order to occupy one of the modern one-bed and two-bed rooms, many of which enjoy a wonderful southern view. This additional insurance also enables patients to choose their own doctor and to be treated by him/her before, during and after their stay at the clinic.
Those patients who value being able to choose their own doctor and being treated by him/her at Klinik St. Anna, should therefore consider taking out complementary health insurance cover.
