25th week of pregnancy

  • Biparietal diameter of foetus: 61 to 72 mm
  • Weight of foetus: approx. 800 g
  • Length of foetus: approx. 32 cm

Your baby is able to smell, taste and see. It can feel pressure, pain and cold. It reacts with an increased heart rate and strong movements to strong stimuli from the outside world. It is also able to hear well and can recognize your voice. Sing to it from time to time; if this calms the foetus, you’ll know what to do once it is born.

Your unborn is becoming chubbier, as fat develops under the skin. Small wrinkles disappear and its skin becomes smooth and full.
