As the amniotic sac presses quite hard on the bladder, it is possible that you lose a little urine involuntarily. Your gynaecologist will quickly be able to determine if it is urine or amniotic liquid, and give you test sticks to take home.
The calcium level in the blood of your child has become higher than your own, as the placenta takes all reserves from your blood for bone development. You should now take plenty of calcium: eat or drink a lot of milk products. Also calcium effervescent tablets can’t do any harm. Your child will take what it needs – makes sure there is some left over for you.
