35th week of pregnancy

  • Biparietal diameter of foetus: 84 to 97 mm
  • Weight of foetus: approx. 2400 g
  • Length of foetus: approx. 45 cm

The baby now fills out the entire abdominal cavity and pushes your lungs together, so that you can hardly breathe. The uterus now pushes against the ribs, which can be painful. A straight posture while sitting or standing can help with this.

Nausea can become a problem again, towards the end of the pregnancy. Small but frequent meals should help.

Your navel bulges out, but don’t worry, it goes back in straight after birth!
