The Hirslanden Private Hospital Group

The Hirslanden Private Hospital Group consists of 16 hospitals, many of which have an outpatient surgery centre and emergency department. We also operate four outpatient clinics, 14 radiology institutes, and four radiotherapy institutes. This makes us the largest medical network in Switzerland.

Our Private Hospital Group promotes first-class medicine. Highly qualified specialist doctors with many years' experience ensure that our extraordinarily high standards are met. The Group is distinguished from others in the market by being a full system provider: interdisciplinary medical centres of expertise and specialist institutes enable it to offer the best possible, individually adjusted treatment, even in highly complex cases.

The Hirslanden Private Hospital Group was formed in 1990 from the merger of several private hospitals. Since 2007 it has been a part of the South African hospital group Mediclinic International Limited. The company operates private hospitals in South Africa, Namibia, the United Arab Emirates and – through Hirslanden – in Switzerland.
