Nutrition is our speciality

We attach great importance to the culinary wellbeing of patients during their stay at the clinic.

To ensure that we provide our patients with the best possible diet, the dieticians work in close cooperation with the kitchen staff and the specially-trained dietary chefs, as well as with the nursing staff and doctors.

The dieticians draw up the menu plan for each patient according to the doctors’ orders and provide the patients and their families with advice for after their stay in the clinic. Combining empathy and the latest scientific knowledge, they explain why certain foodstuffs must be avoided in the event of illness – and why others are essential.

Nutritional advice is also provided for out-patients. Patients are referred here by their family doctor. People who are interested in nutrition can also take advantage of the nutritional consulting service at the Hirslanden Klinik Aarau.

Since the opening of the Hirslanden Training Centre in the AZ Medienhaus in Aarau, the dieticians have also provided nutritional consulting, analysis and workshops.
