Do you wish to visit one of our inpatients? Please find below all the information you need to know about visits to the Clinique Bois-Cerf.

Visits restriction

Masks must be worn in the clinics, even by those who have been vaccinated. Masks are available at all reception points in the clinic.

If a patient is admitted and needs to be accompanied, he/she can only do so with one person.

For hospitalized patients, visits are authorized from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the rate of two people per day and per patient, without the possibility of meals or snacks in the room.

Our restaurant is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day, with the current protective measures of the OFSP.

Visiting times It is possible to visit most patients every day between 09:00 and 21:30. Outside these times, only close family may visit patients. For security reasons, you must check in at reception. If you have any questions, please ask at reception.
Located on the ground floor of the hospital, our bar is open from 07:30 to 19:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday, Sundays and holidays. It offers a full range of food options and a wide choice of drinks, as well as magazines, newspapers and gifts. It has a wifi connection, which you can also find throughout the hospital.

  • Visitors are welcome at mealtimes. They may eat with patients in their room (midday and evening) or in the bar (midday only).
  • For patients with private insurance, meals are offered free of charge for two visitors. For patients with semi-private insurance, a meal is offered for one visitor.
  • If you wish to have a meal, please ask the hospitality staff the night before. If you would like to have a meal in a two-bed room, please check with the nursing staff first.
  • Our chef, Carlo Crisci, offers a different seasonal menu every day.
Garden and terrasse You can enjoy a walk in the hospital garden at any time. The terrace is open during the warmer months.
Parking There is only limited parking in front of the Clinique Bois-Cerf. We recommend using the public car parks and parking areas available around the hospital (blue zones and the Hotel Royal Savoy car park).
Please note
  • Visits to outpatients and patients in continuing care are not permitted.
  • For reasons of hygiene, only cut flowers are allowed.
  • Visits to the recovery room are not allowed.
  • If you wish to visit a patient in the continuing care unit, please ask at reception. Only close relatives, with the exception of young children, are permitted in this unit.
