Anesthesia allows the partial or total abolition of painful sensitivity allowing the realization without memorization and without pain of surgical interventions and painful or invasive medical procedures.
As for resuscitation, anaesthetists take care of patients with or likely to present one or more acute visceral failures directly involving the prognosis.
