Paid changing time and Flex Time Plus

Five weeks of vacation are standard with us. If you would like more vacation days, the “Flex Time Plus” working model gives you the option to receive up to 10 additional vacation days in exchange for a small salary reduction.

Employees who are required to change completely for their work also receive four additional paid days off when working at a 100% position. With a reduced workload, the number of additional days off is reduced accordingly. Employees paid on an hourly basis receive an equivalent financial compensation.

We actively promote and support part-time work wherever possible, including in leadership positions. We mean this seriously: many of our teams are managed in a co-leadership model.

Hirslanden employees working part-time can enter into flexible employment contracts. These so-called flex contracts combine two advantages: the security of a permanent employment contract with the option of taking on additional assignments that are paid flexibly on an hourly basis..
