The Geneva Ambulatory Surgery Center was created with the aim of bringing together outpatient surgical activities in order to offer the population of Geneva a center of excellence focused on the patient, with a high level of quality and innovation. The result of a partnership between the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and the private clinic group Hirslanden, it is the largest ambulatory surgery center in Switzerland.

The Geneva Ambulatory Surgery Center is a modern 4,000 m² medical facility dedicated to outpatient surgical care. It brings together specialized teams and an optimized medical and logistical organization designed to ensure a high level of care quality, patient safety, and efficient treatment pathways.
The center covers all surgical specialties and serves a broad medical community, including practitioners from the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), accredited Hirslanden physicians, as well as any physician authorized to practice in the Canton of Geneva and accredited by the Center.

The Geneva Ambulatory Surgery Center has 10 operating rooms designed to meet the requirements of modern ambulatory surgery:
6 conventional operating rooms
These rooms are equipped for procedures requiring the presence of an anesthesiologist, ensuring comprehensive and safe patient care.
4 rooms dedicated to local anesthesia
These rooms are reserved for procedures performed under pure local anesthesia, managed directly by the surgeon, or for specific techniques such as WALANT (Wide Awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquet).
