Get a second opinion

Important information

Before you come to the consultation, please check whether your health insurance company will cover the costs of the second opinion. Second opinions are offered regardless of your type of health insurance.

Please also note that we do not issue a written second opinion without having seen the results of the previous examination.

Process

1. Contact form

Send us an enquiry using the contact form below.

 

2. Information

A hospital employee will contact you to collect the required information about your disease.

3. Tumour board

The documents will be discussed by an interdisciplinary tumour board at Klinik Hirslanden.

4. Feedback

You will receive an answer to your second opinion request within 10 days. 
 

Contact form

Please have the following reports ready for contact or request them from the attending physician:

  • Medical reports (diagnosis and reports on therapy)
  • Pathological and histological findings (biopsies)
  • Radiological findings (CT, MRT, ultrasound)
  • Other findings or documents

You have the opportunity to register various requests or to provide us with information. We will use your personal data that you have entered only for the purposes mentioned by you or listed during registration. Your data will then be deleted as soon as possible unless we are legally obligated to store it. You will always have the right to information, rectification, restriction, data portability, objection, erasure and in certain cases the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
