The Swiss LGBTI label: our commitment is certified
We are delighted that the Hirslanden Group has been awarded the Swiss LGBTI label. This award confirms our active commitment to the rights and equality of LGBTI people – above and beyond legal standards.
The label sends a strong message both internally and externally: we are committed to creating a safe, appreciative and inclusive environment in which all people – regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or family type – have the same opportunities to develop and make a contribution.
We are delighted to announce that the Hirslanden Group was awarded the Swiss LGBTI label on 18 June 2025.
What we do specifically
DEI strategy & mission statement
We have been pursuing a Group-wide diversity strategy ever since 2019. We revised it in 2024 to better integrate LGBTI concerns in a targeted manner.
Creating visibility
Whether with a stand at Zurich Pride, inclusive language in job advertisements or various imagery in our communication – we demonstrate our attitude and make inclusion visible.
Structures & networks
A Group-wide DEI Center of Excellence, local initiatives in the ESG forum and active allyship offer employees a platform for discussion and engagement.
Gender-neutral working environment
From gender-neutral workwear to unisex toilets and inclusive language – we shape our working environment in a variety of ways.
Further training & awareness
With over 160 internal DEI learning opportunities and targeted workshops, we promote a conscious and inclusive leadership culture.
Inclusive communication
Whether it’s job advertisements, social media or our ‘For all of life’s consequences’ campaign – we consciously address people of all identities.
