In addition to a comprehensive range of treatments and an interdisciplinary support service, the Tumour Centre offers its patients patient management in the sense of holistic care.
The Patient Management team at the Hirslanden Tumour Centre Zurich serves as a central point of contact for patients and their relatives throughout the entire course of the illness. We provide guidance, answer questions, and facilitate access to a wide range of supportive services. Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary network, we ensure that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. Our services encompass psychological support, social counselling, nutritional advice, genetic counselling, stoma care, spiritual care, and coordination of outpatient oncology rehabilitation programs. Whether during inpatient treatment or outpatient care, our goal is to support patients holistically, addressing both medical and psychosocial aspects of their well-being.
Mon to Fri from 9.00 am - 4.00 pm
What are the tasks of patient management?
Throughout the course of your illness, the patient management team will be there for you and your relatives as a point of contact. Through dialogue, support needs can be clarified, advice given or simply listened to. As a supplement to the treatment team, we are a contact point for questions, information and concerns of all kinds in connection with your illness. We see ourselves as a bridge builder to the various support services and provide information, advice or referrals to the various specialists or organisations as required.
We are there for you both as inpatients and outpatients and work together with the various professions within our network in the respective setting.
