Hirslanden Clinique La Colline is the official medical partner of the Genève Servette Hockey Club.
The history of Geneve-Servette Hockey Club is a long and eventful one, dating back to the early twentieth century and comprising the intertwined fate of two clubs: Servette FC (which emerged from the football club of the same name) and HC Genève hockey club.
In 1963, merger of the two clubs which had shared the same infrastructure since 1954 came about. Nine ice-Champion titles and two Swiss Cups later, the GSHC is one of the key driving forces in Swiss hockey today.
The club's games are beyond compare featuring a pre-game show with videos and a live eagle, three mascots, cheerleaders and a team that never fails to put on a spectacular performance for its loyal followers (more than 5,200 fans and almost 7,000 spectators on average for each game with the stadium having a maximum capacity of 7,135).
What does being a medical partner mean?
The GSHC players are supported by the Centre for Sports Medicine and Exercise (CMSE) and benefit from the expertise of the Centre's sports doctors.
Physical preparation, medical check-ups, personalized care or targeted counselling, hockey players are followed throughout the year at the Clinic.
During the season, the doctors follow them on the ice thus guaranteeing a personalized daily support.
