Ihsan Inan is an FMH-certified general surgeon with subspecialisation in visceral surgery, fully trained in Switzerland. His clinical activity is exclusively dedicated to robot-assisted visceral surgery, which he uses as the reference operative modality across his entire practice.

His surgical approach is based on patient safety, technical precision, and long-term functional outcomes. Robotic surgery enables fine dissection, accurate reconstruction, and a high level of procedural standardisation, particularly in complex visceral surgery.

His field of activity covers the full spectrum of benign and oncologic visceral surgery, with a particular focus on abdominal wall surgery and reconstruction, including inguinal, ventral, and incisional hernias, rectus diastasis, as well as biliary surgery, colorectal surgery, and functional upper abdominal surgery.

Patient care is integrated into a structured perioperative pathway combining prehabilitation, ERAS principles, and organised postoperative follow-up. Pain management relies on multimodal strategies aimed at avoiding or limiting opioid use, with an emphasis on early mobilisation and functional recovery. When indicated, multidisciplinary collaboration is an integral part of the care pathway.

Robotic surgery is also integrated into the management of emergency visceral surgical conditions, with standards equivalent to those applied in elective procedures. In parallel with his clinical activity, Dr Inan is actively involved in training, mentoring, and teaching in robotic surgery at an international level. He consults in French, English, and Turkish.
