If your doctor suspects that you have breast cancer, it is better to see a specialist sooner rather than later. A breast consultation at the Bern Biel Breast Centre helps patients to better assess potential signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and ensures early diagnosis and treatment in the event of disease.

Advisory services provided during our breast consultations

We will be happy to advise you on any breast complaints during our breast consultations:

  • Suspected breast cancer
  • Mastodynia (painful breasts)
  • Secretion
  • Breast deformities
  • Male gynaecomastia 

During the first consultation, we discuss your individual situation, review existing findings and arrange for any outstanding examinations. We also introduce you to the range of possible treatments. You will be referred to the breast consultation by your gynaecologist or attending doctor. You can also contact us directly, for example for a second opinion.
