Tumescent anaesthesia
A type of local anaesthesia involving the injection of special fluid into the subcutaneous fatty tissue that causes the tissue to become swollen and firm. -

Narrowing of the aortic valve caused by calcium deposits. This degenerative disease constricts the valve opening. The blood can no longer flow freely, which places excessive strain on the heart as it has to pump harder. -
