The Hirslanden Group has been providing sports-related medical care to the athletes of Swiss-Ski since May 2021, which enables them to benefit from the Hirslanden Group’s Switzerland-wide integrated care model.
We have appointed Dr med. Walter O. Frey, the long-time Chief Medical Officer of Swiss-Ski, as part of our partnership. Frey coordinates medical examinations and acute medical treatments by Hirslanden sports medicine specialists from Radiology, Internal Medicine and other disciplines. In addition, he also ensures that Swiss-Ski athletes have fast access to the Switzerland-wide network offered by the Hirslanden Group and its partners.
We provide Swiss-Ski with physiotherapists for training sessions and competitions. Swiss-Ski can also call on Hirslanden for emergency care during training camps abroad.
Together with our cooperation partners, we offer a wealth of professional expertise in sports medicine, which is one of our core competencies. Therefore, we are delighted to be supporting Swiss-Ski, one of the most prominent figureheads in Swiss sport.
