The Swiss Federal Health Insurance Act (KVG) stipulates that you must be sent a copy of every invoice that goes directly to your health insurer. We use a service from Swisscom Health to send such copies by post or electronically.
What this means for you
In the case of electronic delivery, you receive an email from Swisscom with a link. You can access the link by entering an additional code sent by SMS.
Invoice copies can be viewed and downloaded for 30 days, after which they are completely deleted by Swisscom. Data protection and data security are top priorities for Swisscom Health. We always comply with legal provisions and respect doctor-patient privilege when handling the data entrusted to us.
