Stéphan Studer has decided to take on a new professional challenge outside of Hirslanden. He will start his new position as Director of Individual Health at Groupe Mutuel on 1 September 2025. He will also serve as a member of the Executive Board.
Stéphan Studer has been part of the Hirslanden Group for 10 years, initially as Hospital Manager of Clinique La Colline in Geneva, before becoming Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive Committee in May 2019. He channelled his commitment and expertise into making a significant contribution to the development and positioning of Hirslanden. A host of initiatives have been implemented under his direction, including the founding of the Center for Sports and Exercise Medicine at Clinique La Colline, the launch of the PPP project by the Centre for Outpatient Surgery in collaboration with the Geneva University Hospitals, the founding of Medical Center Wankdorf in Bern, the establishment of partnerships with Mujinga Kambundji and Swiss Ski, and the successful turnaround in Lausanne.
Daniel Liedtke, CEO of the Hirslanden Group, had the following to say: “On behalf of the entire Executive Committee, I would like to thank Stéphan wholeheartedly for the close, cooperative and trustful working relationship we had with him and his enormous commitment to our company. We wish him all the best for the future – both professionally and personally.”
The search for a successor for the Hospital Manager of the two Hirslanden clinics in Lausanne has begun.
