Placed under the responsibility of their assigned pediatrician or the pediatrician on call, babies, born at term or slightly premature, are welcomed in our neonatology department for a few days after their birth.
Paediatricians examine the child within 24 hours of birth. A decisive step for the future health of the baby. These newborns may require more specific examinations or care (blood tests, imaging, incubator, oxygen, phototherapy or others) before returning home. Our specialists thus ensure a good medical and psycho-emotional adaptation to this new life for the child and his parents.
