The Hirslanden Private Hospital Group
The Hirslanden Private Hospital Group consists of 17 hospitals – many of which have an outpatient surgical centre and an A&E department – and runs four outpatient practice centres, 16 radiology centres and four radiotherapy centres. This makes it the largest medical network in Switzerland.
With its 9,635 staff – including 461 employed doctors and around 1,680 affiliated doctors – the Hirslanden Group offers a comprehensive range of services across all levels of treatment, from basic care through to diagnostics and highly specialised university-level medicine. The primary goal on all treatment levels is the maximisation of patient benefit. This includes the quality of medical care and patient satisfaction, not to mention the efficiency of the services on offer.
The Hirslanden Group and its hospitals are on the hospital list of all 11 of their respective cantons, thus playing an important role in the provision of healthcare to the people of Switzerland. The proportion of patients with basic insurance is constantly growing across the Group, and has now reached 47,90 percent. Nevertheless, Hirslanden continues to position itself as a leading provider of supplementary insurance, allowing patients to experience the benefits of semi-private or private health insurance.
