With Hirslanden Privé, you benefit not only during your hospital stay, but also beyond, throughout the Hirslanden Group.

Hirslanden Privé membership was therefore developed for patients with private supplementary health insurance.

You will automatically receive your personalised card with your individual membership number two to three weeks after your inpatient stay, provided that Privé membership was expressly requested during the hospital stay.

Requirements: The card will only be sent to you if you have expressly requested Privé membership during an inpatient hospital stay. If you would like to apply for Privé membership retrospectively, you can do so by sending an email to prive@hirslanden.ch.

Please note that you are only eligible for a Hirslanden Privé membership if you have private insurance. Flex insurance or an upgrade does not entitle you to Hirslanden Privé membership.

Hirslanden Privé Service Line

As a member of Hirslanden Privé, the Hirslanden Privé Service Line is available to you for individual health-related support before and after your stay at Hirslanden:

  • Organisation and arrangement of doctors’ appointments
  • Support in obtaining a second medical opinion
  • Personal health consultation
  • Coordination of health resort and rehabilitation accommodation

Hospital care – support beyond the hospital stay

To ensure that you can concentrate fully on your recovery before, during and after your hospital stay, the Hirslanden Privé Service Line offers you a range of services to ease your daily life – even outside the hospital:

  • Personal help and nursing in your own home
  • Provision of special aids (e.g. walking aids, wheelchairs)
  • Shopping and supply service
  • Delivery of medication
  • Transport services of all kinds – including chauffeur service on request
  • Support with apartment/house maintenance
  • Gardening assistance
  • Laundry service at your home

Kids care – reliable support for parents

Kids care is an exclusive offer for Hirslanden Privé patients with children aged between three months and 16 years – designed specifically for working parents and/or single parents.

If your child falls into an acute illness or has an accident, the Hirslanden Privé Service Line will quickly and reliably arrange a doctor’s appointment and arrange a qualified caregiver for you within four hours. They will lovingly look after your child at home, provide nursing, play, meals and everything else needed to help them recover quickly – in close consultation with you.

Our service is also available to assist you with the care of healthy children: Whether it’s for short-term relief, during doctor’s appointments, hospital stays, on holiday or a well-deserved break – we organise experienced and trustworthy babysitters for you.

Can I purchase a Hirslanden Privé membership?

No, Hirslanden Privé membership is an exclusive membership for privately insured patients who have had an inpatient stay at a Hirslanden hospital.

How do I become a Hirslanden Privé member?

When you register, you will receive a consent form along with your admission documents, which you can use to apply for membership. Your personal Hirslanden Privé membership card will be sent to you by post after being discharged.

I have registered for Hirslanden Privé membership but have not received my membership card. Who should I contact?

If you have given us your consent to participate in Hirslanden Privé membership but have not received a membership card by post, please register by email at prive@hirslanden.ch or by phone on +41 842 444 222. We will check the process and send you a new card if necessary.

I would like to apply for Hirslanden Privé membership retroactively. What should I do?

If you would like to apply for membership at a later date, please send an email to prive@hirslanden.ch or call us on +41 842 444 222. After verification, we will send you your personal membership card by post.

I have lost my Hirslanden Privé card or can no longer find it. Where can I apply for a new card?
