Current rules for patient visits
In addition to the directives of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH), the ordinances of the Health Directorate (GD) of the Canton of Zurich apply in Zurich hospitals. Based on these, the following measures will apply to patient visits from Friday, 1 April 2022 and until further notice:
- Visitors must wear a surgical mask at all times while on the hospital premises (incl. patient rooms). Fabric masks are not permitted.
- Visitors with flu-like symptoms are not permitted to enter the clinic.
- We ask all visitors to disinfect their hands regularly and thoroughly and to keep a distance (1.5 metres).
- The protective measures and guidelines also apply to people who have been vaccinated against Covid 19 disease.
By taking this measure into account, you are making an active contribution to the protection of your relatives. Thank you for your understanding.
