Stéphan Studer became Chief Operating Officer of the Hirslanden Group in April 2022. Since his professional beginnings as a physiotherapist, he has always worked in the health sector: prior to becoming COO of the Group, he held various leading positions within Hirslanden, such as Chief Operating Officer West (2019-2022), Regional Operating Officer West (2018-2019) and hospital manager of Clinique La Colline in Geneva (2015-2018). Before Stéphan Studer joined the Hirslanden Group, he was the Administrative Director of the Department of the Musculoskeletal System and the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). He is a certified physiotherapist, holds a Master in Social Sciences (University of Lausanne), an Executive Master of Business Administration (University of Geneva) as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Health Care Administration (University St. Gallen). In addition to his professional career, Stéphan Studer worked for many years at the highest international level as a football referee; the skills he acquired in the course of this work are still used in his everyday professional life today.
