Hansueli Bieri fought an advanced stage of lung cancer for several years. He died from this disease in October 2018. For a long time he managed to keep the disease under control with the help of immunotherapy, and he was able to consciously enjoy life until the end – whether sharing a delicious meal with friends, playing golf or working at his long-standing job.
