Interview

Why did you choose your profession?

After 25 years working in bedside care, I wanted to gain new qualifications, expand my knowledge and pursue a profession that is highly challenging and that requires plenty of responsibility and independence.

What do you like about your job and what keeps you motivated every day?

What drives me is building trust with the patients who are in my care. Not only do I want to communicate to them that they’re in the best hands; I also put a lot of energy into providing them with the best possible care.

What’s the best part of your job?

One last grateful and worry-free look on the patient’s face before they fall asleep under anaesthesia and seeing their glowing face when they wake up again.

What do you like about the working environment at the outpatient Bellaria Surgical Centre?

The fact that we have a state-of-the-art hospital right nearby with immediate access to all the resources needed for emergencies. But also the solid cooperation with the anaesthesia team at Klinik Im Park.
