Interview

Why did you choose your profession?

Surgery has always fascinated me, and I enjoy working with people, which is why I decided to become a technical surgery specialist. I find it exciting to be involved in organising surgeries and enjoy the direct interaction with patients in the operating room.

What do you like about your job and what keeps you motivated every day?

Interpersonal contact with our patients is very important to me and is a top priority not only for me but for our whole team. What keeps me motivated each day is the successful surgery coordination with satisfied patients and seeing a smile on the faces of my fantastic team at the end of the day.

What’s the best part of your job?

After 30 years of professional experience, I still enjoy my job as much as I did on day one.

What do you like about the working environment at the outpatient Bellaria Surgical Centre?

The positive work atmosphere. I appreciate the respectful way in which staff treat each other at Bellaria. Interdisciplinary collaboration, surgical and anaesthesia nursing, including in the outpatient clinic, also works well and makes many things easier in the workplace. We are a well-coordinated team with many long-time employees.
