I find balance in my family and at our home, where we have a large, beautiful garden I like to tend to.
I love taking holidays and experiencing other countries and cultures.

Interview

Why did you choose your profession?

Even as a child, I was often in hospitals with sick family members and always supported so lovingly by the nurses. It left an impression on me, and from then on I knew that I wanted to help people in need too one day. That’s why I decided to go into nursing.

What do you like about your job and what keeps you motivated every day?

I love helping people and calming them down in extreme situations. It makes me happy and is motivating when patients leave our outpatient clinic feeling satisfied and that they have been in good hands. I also appreciate that we have such a well-coordinated and motivated team.

My family is a big part of what motivates me on a daily basis – they support me a lot.

What’s the best part of your job?

To help people in difficult situations they’re not used to on a daily basis and to be there for them. As I mentioned before, the best part for me is when patients can go home satisfied and relieved.

What do you like about the working environment at the outpatient Bellaria Surgical Centre?

Bellaria is small, unintimidating and has a very intimate atmosphere. I really like the direct contact and cooperation with the doctors and patients. It’s very exciting to be able to provide care in so many different specialist areas on an outpatient and short-term inpatient basis. It’s not a coincidence that I’ve been so happy for almost 30 years working at Klinik im Park and the Bellaria Surgical Centre.
