Our hotel service staff will assist you on admission to the clinic, advise you on your meal choices, serve your food and drinks, and act as your point of contact for any queries you may have regarding your stay at the clinic. The hotel services at Klinik Im Park cater to all your non-medical needs.
The stay
Room
Our rooms are equipped with modern facilities, including air conditioning. Towels and toiletries are provided. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom.
Daily routine
Between the scheduled times (mealtimes, examinations, etc.), you are free to organise your daily routine as you wish, in consultation with the nursing staff. Please inform the relevant nursing staff if you leave the ward.
Flowers and plants
Our florist will tend to your cut flowers twice a week. For hygiene reasons, only cut flowers are permitted. Please advise your visitors not to bring any potted plants or moss.
Bistro/Room service
Our bistro in the lobby and our room service are available to you and your guests.

Menu selection
For main meals, we offer a variety of set menus, special dietary menus and à la carte dishes, all prepared in accordance with the latest nutritional guidelines. In addition to vegetarian dishes, kosher meals are also available.
Nutritional Advice
Our nutritionist is happy to assist you with any questions regarding nutrition and meeting specific dietary requirements on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8.00 am to 11.30 am.
Media and information services
Telephone
You can be reached via your room’s direct dial number from 7 am to 10 pm. Your telephone card must be inserted into the telephone for this to work. From 10 pm to 7 am, all calls are routed via reception.
Internet
A free Wi-Fi network is available to our guests throughout the clinic, allowing internet access via laptops, tablets or smartphones.
Radio/TV
You can access a wide range of radio and TV programmes via the television in your room.
Daily newspapers
We provide a selection of daily newspapers every day. Please speak to the hotel service staff.
Post
We will deliver post and flowers to your room as quickly as possible. You can hand in your own post to the nursing staff, the hotel staff or at reception.
Terrace
You can access our cosy terrace directly from the maternity ward. Here, during the warmer months, you can enjoy the first rays of sunshine with your baby and welcome visitors.

Pastoral care
Our hospital chaplains will visit patients regularly on request. Please speak to a member of the nursing staff or dial the internal telephone number 2896 (Reformed chaplaincy) or 2881 (Catholic chaplaincy).

Laundry service/Dry cleaning
We can arrange for your personal laundry to be washed or dry-cleaned at standard market rates. Please speak to the hotel service staff.
Doctor on duty/Emergencies
An anaesthetist is on duty at the clinic at all times, day and night. In addition, the clinic has a 24-hour A&E department and emergency doctors on site around the clock. Our wards and the intensive care unit are staffed at all times, and a surgical and anaesthesia team is on duty round the clock. If you are unable to reach your gynaecologist in an emergency, please contact the midwife: T +41 44 209 22 42.
Smoke-free/Fire safety
Please note that the Klinik Im Park is a smoke-free facility. Smokers may use the garden seating area on the 2nd floor.
For your safety, we have fitted the entire clinic with an automatic fire protection system and clearly signposted escape routes. Candles are not permitted for safety reasons.
Visitors
Visitor car parks
A limited number of paid parking spaces are available for visitors in the underground car park. Depending on their insurance category, the patient’s partner will be provided with a certain number of free parking vouchers. Please note that behind the clinic (Kappelistrasse, Bellariastrasse) there are only a limited number of parking spaces available (blue zone). Larger car parks are located on Mythenquai (Succulent Collection/Strandbad, 500 m via Strandbadweg) and in Honrain near the Landiwiese bus stop (400 m).
Visiting hours
In the maternity ward, visitors are welcome between 1.30 pm and 9 pm, out of consideration for the mother and baby. Your partner and children may also visit you outside these hours. If you do not wish to receive visitors for a certain period, please inform the nursing staff.
Visitor catering and accommodation
You are also very welcome to visit during mealtimes. Your partner may also stay overnight in your room if you wish. For further information, please contact Patient Admissions.
Visitors’ toilets
Toilets, clearly marked for this purpose, are available for visitors outside the patients’ rooms.
