The presence on the site of the Clinic of a multidisciplinary team has allowed the development of surgical treatments for obesity, by the application of gastric bypass and appropriate dietary monitoring. Accredited by the SMOB (Swiss Society for the Study of Morbid Obesity and Metabolic Disorder) as a Swiss centre for primary bariatric surgery, the centre supports the complete follow-up of patients suffering from obesity, from conservative treatments to surgery, through a multidisciplinary approach. The use of the Da Vinci surgical robot makes it possible to perform these operations in a minimally invasive way. This surgical technique thus limits scars and reduces postoperative recovery.
