The centre offers personalised support and high-quality care at each stage of treatment: diagnosis, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and follow-up.
A centre that is open to all patients
All outpatient services (radiology, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, specialist consultation) are covered by basic insurance.
In case of hospitalisation, patients with only basic insurance can also be treated at the Geneva Breast Centre, and be operated on at the Clinique des Grangettes, within allowances granted by the State of Geneva.
Each patient can schedule two consultations, to cover oncological nutrition, and oncological psychological treatment, with doctors from the Centre for Preventive and Integrative Medicine. These are a welcome addition to conventional treatment, which reduce certain side-effects, and maintain the patient's overall quality of life. A personalised programme, including physical rehabilitation and complementary approaches can be offered.
Requesting a second opinion
Every patient has the right to request a second medical opinion. This enables patients to make well-informed choices, and often helps them come to a decision in cases where different treatments are possible.
Our team is at your disposal to help you get a second opinion.
