Jonas Zollinger, who is currently the Head of Guest Relations & Infrastructure and a member of the executive management team at Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna in Lucerne, will become the new Hospital Manager at AndreasKlinik Cham Zug on 1 November 2018. He is replacing Dr. Urs Karli, who departed Hirslanden on 30 June 2018. Jonas Zollinger will assume responsibility for the management of both AndreasKlinik Cham Zug as well as Pflegezentrum Ennetsee, as there is a management agreement between the two medical facilities.

Jonas Zollinger (36, married, three children) has been the Head of Guest Relations & Infrastructure and a member of the executive management team at Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna in Lucerne since 2013. Among other things, Zollinger’s current responsibilities include the ongoing development of the hospital’s infrastructure and the room planning at Klinik St. Anna and St. Anna im Bahnhof in Lucerne. He also reorganised the structure and processes within his department to meet the needs of the steadily growing hospital. As a member of the executive management team at Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna, he is highly familiar with the frameworks and procedures necessary to successfully run a hospital.

Prior to joining Hirslanden, Zollinger worked for many years in the luxury hotel industry in Doha, Miami and Gstaad, and held senior positions in the USA and Switzerland. He was the Deputy Director at Hotel Villa Honegg in Bürgenstock before taking up employment at Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna.

Jonas Zollinger completed basic business management training, graduated from the Swiss School of Hotel Management in Lucerne and subsequently undertook postgraduate studies in hotel management. He also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Health Care Management from the University of St. Gallen.

His predecessor Dr. Urs Karli had successfully led AndreasKlinik Cham Zug since 2012. Under his watch, the hospital and Pflegezentrum Ennetsee were continuously developed. The most important milestones during his time include the acquisition of the radiology department and the establishment of the Institute for Radiology, as well as the opening of Ortho Cham Zug last year, which boasts three highly regarded orthopaedic specialists. After more than two years of construction, Pflegezentrum Ennetsee’s new extension was opened in 2016. In the last few years Urs Karli was also responsible for the development and expansion of the hospital’s spinal surgery services. The Hirslanden Private Hospital Group would like to thank Mr Karli for his dedication and commitment over the past six years and wishes him all the best for the future.
