The Canton of Zurich has commissioned the Hirslanden Group to provide and operate a Covid 19 vaccination centre for the population of the city of Zurich and the Dietikon district.

It is one of several cantonal vaccination centres in which the general population in the canton of Zurich is to be vaccinated in the period from April to August 2021. The award was preceded by a public tender for the contract.

The vaccination centre is being built in the Messe Zürich congress centre (halls 1 and 2) in an ideally accessible location. It will be ready by the end of February and with its 30 vaccination routes, will have a capacity of up to 4.000 vaccinations per day.

Zurich is the fourth canton to entrust Hirslanden with the provision of a Covid-19 vaccination centre. Hirslanden already operates centres in the cantons of Geneva, Thurgau and Zug (here in cooperation with the Cantonal Hospital Zug).
