After 16 years, Magnus Oetiker, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), has decided to leave the Hirslanden Private Hospital Group to take on a new challenge elsewhere. The organisational structure is being adjusted as part of this change: Ralph Panoff will take on the newly created position of Transformation Officer. The change will take effect from 7 October 2016.

Magnus Oetiker (44, married, with two children) has successfully contributed to the development of the Hirslanden Private Hospital Group over the last 10 years. He began his career at Hirslanden in 2000 as Head of Funder Relations, and was active in various management positions at the Hirslanden Group Corporate Office until 2008. In 2008, he joined the Executive Committee, where he assumed a variety of roles. In his current position as Chief Strategy Officer, Magnus Oetiker is responsible for the following departments: ICT & Processes, Human Resources, Real Estate, Corporate Development and Organisational Development.

Ralph Panoff (53, married, with one child) is a proven specialist in developing and implementing transformation programmes and large projects. He has more than 30 years of management experience in different areas, including his roles as CIO of AMAG Automobil- und Motoren AG and as Managing Director of around 80 AMAG retail operations in Switzerland. For the past few years he has focussed on guiding large companies through change management processes. Ralph Panoff will take up his new position as Transformation Officer on 7 October 2016.

The position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will not be continued in this form. In due course, the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be introduced as a new role on the Hirslanden Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee regrets the departure of Magnus Oetiker and would like to thank him for his dedicated efforts and his successful contribution during the past 16 years. The Hirslanden Group wishes him the very best and every success for the future and the challenges to come.
